Wellies & Windbreaks is a small, independent holiday lettings agency, led by Amanda and her exceptional team. We cherish everything that makes a seaside getaway special — the fresh coastal air, the sound of the waves, and quality time with friends and family. That’s why we carefully select each of our coastal holiday cottages and seaside homes, ensuring the perfect setting for a relaxing break by the sea.
Whether you’re searching for a spacious property for an extended family celebration, a beachfront home for a group of friends, a dog-friendly cottage for bracing coastal walks, or a cosy hideaway for a romantic weekend, our goal is simple: to help you find the perfect holiday home for your getaway.
Our Approach
Focussing on the highest level of customer service for both our guests and our homeowners is our primary motivation. With a carefully curated portfolio of holiday homes, our professionalism and commitment to high standards, attention to detail and level of service and support goes above and beyond that which most other agencies can or choose to offer. Combined with our extensive knowledge of the local area, good network of supportive trades and the fact that we know each and every one of our properties inside out sets us apart from the local competition.
Actually, being able to talk to someone when you are trying to plan a holiday or manage your holiday home is a rare but much appreciated luxury in today’s digital age. We are always on the end of the phone or ready to respond to an email if you have questions. We love nothing more than sharing our local top tips and recommendations and should guests ever have an question or concern during their stay, we are always happy to pop around with a smiley face to resolve any niggles.
Our ethos is very much centred around valuing loyalty and building lasting relationships. Many of our guests have been returning to our properties year after year, and it is this level of customer satisfaction that we strive to achieve with every booking. Who We Are
Meet Amanda
Wellies & Windbreaks was born and grew from a love of holidaying in the Witterings. Playing hide and seek in the dunes at East Head with my children; eating sandy picnics on the beach; paddle-boarding with my dogs; and watching the kite surfers at sunset with my husband and a cold beer in hand, are just a few of my favourite things.
It all began when our daughter was first born and we frequently escaped the hustle of London for some much-needed coastal breaks. Three children later and juggling a career with family life, I knew it was time for a change. Whilst on maternity leave with my third child, I began to manage a family members holiday property. When a well-timed opportunity arose to manage a friend’s seaside home, I took the plunge and launched Wellies & Windbreaks in April 2015.
Since then, the business has grown into a well-respected local holiday lettings agency, offering a carefully curated portfolio of beautiful, high-quality coastal holiday homes. Today, we are proud to welcome a long list of repeat guests who share our love of the Witterings and the West Sussex coast.
