Family get together for Easter weekend
Beautiful property for our family get together this Easter. All generations were comfortable and happy with the facilities. Location was ideal for local shops and beach (15min walk). Fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed, however some trays and oven utensils were sticky from previous occupants.
Communication and check-in instructions were clear and very informative. We had all the information we needed and all bedrooms were set up as requested. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return again.
Another wonderful family holiday!
Another wonderful holiday found through Wellies and Windbreaks. Beachcomber is the perfect house for comfort and being so open plan was great as we could be together but at the same time there were two separate seating areas within this space with comfy sofas and a large dinner table. Love the hallway with numerous hooks for coats and boots and prams! Amanda the owner of W & W is always on hand to answer any queries quickly and efficiently. We will definitely we back!
A brilliant weekend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed at Beachcomber.
The property is spacious and perfectly located to access the village of East Wittering and the beach.
Both Angela and Amanda were extremely helpful and accommodating. We will certainly return.
Perfect house in fantastic location
The house was absolutely perfect for our mixed family/friends group of 10. Clean, fresh & comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, lovely bathrooms & so much space to chill out or play games.
Great outside area for sitting, eating & enjoying the sunshine (we were so lucky with the weather!).
Just a short walk to shops & restaurants.
Our only slight disappointment (& it’s a small one) was the space in the garden for games. Previous houses we have stayed in have had lawn to play cornhole, boules etc.& space for sunbathing & loungers. It was a well kept garden though & nice to watch the goldfish in the pond.
Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful house.
Lovely house that suited us perfectly
We are 2 families with children and one set of grandparents so the bedroom layout suited us perfectly, each having their own sleeping/bathing area. Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining layout very good for a sociable holiday. Free EV charging is easy to use and a bonus. Easy walk to the beach and East Wittering.
Half-term Happy Place
As a family we’ve been visiting The Witterings for the past five years. Less than 90-minutes drive from our homes in south-west London, the area is perfect for a half-term break. This year, due to an addition to our number, we had to switch from a lovely place in East Wittering to a new home nearer to West Wittering which provoked the question from our grandchildren ‘will it be as good?’. Well, they didn’t have to worry. Beachcomber is fantastic and, to be honest, better than our previous place. So welcoming, homely, immaculately presented with so much room and a lovely private garden, a few minutes walk from the beach which is so unpopulated even on a sunny day – who could ask for more? I’ve already booked for next year!
