What a fantastic way to celebrate 70th and 40th birthdays! The house exceeded all our expectations, and the location is simply breathtaking. We made the most of the deck and roof terrace, enjoying some stunning sunsets. Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and those views was truly special. We were also incredibly lucky to have such fantastic weather throughout the whole week.
The house has everything you could wish for, with beautiful views from both the bedrooms and the ground floor. Despite being so spacious, it still feels incredibly comfortable and homely. We loved the quality and tasteful quirkiness of the furnishings, artwork and décor throughout the house, which gave it so much character and really added to the whole experience.
We were all very sad to leave Rox at the end of our stay. It was the perfect place to celebrate and make such wonderful memories together.

The admin side of Wellies and Windbreaks is outstanding and the house itself was everything we hoped for. Superb location, wonderful amenities and we were blessed with fantastic weather. Just a stones throw from the beach which allowed for a lovely walk as well

A beautiful house with plenty of space for the whole family. Set in the perfect location for bracing walks along the beach and close enough to nearby resturants.

First time in West Wittering and using Wellies and Windbreaks. A couple of hiccups at the start were dealt with incredibly efficiently by Amanda who was seemingly always on hand to deal with any issues. Great location, very comfortable house. Dreadful weather but didn’t detract from a very enjoyable week.

We returned to Rox, on the beach of West Wittering, excited to see if our past wonderful stays there would be repeated, or? In fact, it was even better, which seemed hardly possible. The large deck, overlooking the sea, easily accommodated a family lunch for 16. The ground floor of the house seemed larger and even better equipped (a stunning new scrabble set was much used!). Walks to East Head were essential recovery magnets (from the lazy hours watching the tides ebb and flow, with book in hand). The massive TV/ media room was fun (but we imagined that it would be used more in the winter months, cuddled up in plentiful blankets). The location is perfect, with no through traffic on the road and only a few minutes walk from the village.
We were very sad when the week ended.
