Fleetwood is a fabulous family holiday home right on the beach front in East Wittering. Located in the quiet private Coney Six residential estate, Fleetwood is an ideal property for a holiday with family and friends. Sleeping 12 in 5 bedrooms and with 5 bathrooms, the property is spacious, comfortable and very well laid out for large groups. The first and second floor both have very large balconies so the sea view can be enjoyed from almost anywhere in the house. There is also a large beach facing garden and plenty of parking to the rear.

Fleetwood is a fabulous family holiday home right on the beach front in East Wittering. With two balconies the full width of the house on both the first and second floors, the breathtaking view of the sea can be enjoyed from pretty much anywhere in the property. Fleetwood has been loved as a holiday home for generations.

Bedroom 3: King size bed with en-suite bathroom (first floor)
Bedroom 4: King size bed with en-suite bathroom (ground floor
Bedroom 5: Double bunk room (ground floor)

Fleetwood sleeps twelve in five bedrooms. The remaining 4 bedrooms all have king size beds and en-suite bathrooms. There is a king on the ground floor, two on the first floor and the large bedroom on the top floor has picture windows the full width of the room, with sliding doors out onto a private balcony. There is no better bed to wake up in on the beach front.

The property enjoys plenty of relaxing and entertaining space with a large open plan kitchen / sitting / dining room on the ground floor, leading on to the secure and private beach front garden. There is also a sitting room on the first floor with sliding doors, the full width of the room, out onto the balcony.

Fleetwood is pet friendly and dogs can play to their hearts content in the secure garden. With the beach just through the garden gate, it is canine heaven. This stretch of the beach is dog friendly all year round. Dog owners are requested to clear up after their pets upon departure and pets are not permitted upstairs, in any of the bedrooms or on the soft furnishings.

Coney Six is a private residential estate so the road is quiet and all the neighbours very friendly. It is just a five minute walk into the village of East Wittering and a ten minute walk in the other direction to Billys on the Beach in Bracklesham Bay…undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the area and the only one on the beach front.

Fleetwood has plenty of parking for at least four or five cars on the drive and is secured by large iron gate.

For a large group holiday or multi generational family gathering, Fleetwood is hard to beat. Its beach front location and spectacular lay out make it the perfect family holiday home.

Location location location just amazing. The house was a little tired but should have been spotless. It wasn’t. There was not enough towels and one of the bathrooms wasn’t working properly . For a luxury rental this was very unsatisfactory.

3 Generation family celebration

In spite of 40 mile an hour winds and rain, this spaciously well equipped property enabled us to have a marvellous family weekend break. The beachfront access allowed us to easily maximise the breaks in the weather for sandcastles and dips in the sea. The children have made us promise that we have to visit again.

Mini break post lockdown

Much needed break. We wanted somewhere not too far away so this was ideal. Lovely location on beach although not ideal for our older relatives as all pebbles so they couldn’t walk along to shops that way. I loved the daily. walks though
House lovely , we all had large bedrooms with en suites which was a priority. The kitchen was a bit disorganised but very spacious. Lovely balconies overlooking the sea on first and second floors.
Amanda was always very efficient in solving any issues we had.. so all in all everyone had a lovely break away,
Also a great location as plenty of lovely places to visit for lunches out ,including Arundel And Chichester
A welcome pack would have been most welcome and I’m sure add that little extra to your stay!!

Spring break

Excellent property with a great location. Really enjoyed our stay. All the comforts you would expect were present, were left wanting for nothing. Would be nice to have the ‘pin’ to watch on demand things from the skybox. A tiny tiny point in an extremely lovely holiday. Would definitely revisit. Thank you.

Great location and lots of space

It was a very wet week so the review might be tainted with the memories of continuous howling winds and the stringent lashing of rain. That said, the convenience and magic of walking out of the house and walking on the beach is priceless. Also the house is extremely well located for local amenities and restaurants.
The house itself is spacious but dated in terms of decor and furniture. Also the kitchen is not particularly well stocked with utensils etc. And the dishes and cutlery were not clean. I wouldn’t rate it highly for value for money.

I am glad that you enjoyed your week and am sorry that I couldn’t arrange better weather for you. I also wanted to reference the lack of kitchen equipment and will get in touch privately about what in particular you felt was lacking. I had thought the house was pretty well equipped, perhaps not organised terribly well but it would be useful to know what I can ask the owners to add. We do really value guest feedback.
I am sorry you had problems with the crockery and cutlery not being perfectly clean. The dishwasher has been a little temperamental and was due to be replaced on 17th October but the delivery was cancelled. It was in fact replaced the day that you left. I do apologise again.

Week Beachside in East Wittering

Mum, Dad, Daughter and Son-in law, as a family shielding an older family member, we visited Fleetwood house in East Wittering for a week by the beach. We chose a larger house because it was one of few available due to the COVID-19 scenario. The venue was exceptional, beachside, and our stay was early October 2020.

The house was relatively expensive but it was a larger house meant for 8 persons or more, in an excellent location and we accepted the additional outlay due to this.

We were generally more than pleased with the experience. The space was well designed, the furniture in the living areas excellent, the beds average, the facilities good.

We were disappointed only by the tired appearance of the exterior of the house and the level of cleanliness upon arrival. We received a COVID-19 update stating the house would be strictly cleaned prior to our arrival, our experience was contrary. We had to wash cutlery and crockery before using it, and the bathrooms were not particularly clean either.

Otherwise, this was a relaxing week away, we were blessed by the warmer than expected weather and the location made it a real break from the COVID-19 situation.

We would return to this house, or another similar to this, as long as the cleaning was improved prior to arrival.

Thank you very much for your constructive review. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay but am really sorry that you were disappointed with the standard of the cleaning. I have spoken to the team of cleaners this morning and am particularly disappointed that you felt the bathrooms were not cleaned well. This is not acceptable and I am sorry.

With regards to the crockery and kitchen equipment I am a little concerned that perhaps the dishwasher is not working as it should. The girls would not as a rule check every plate that had been stacked in the drawers etc by the previous guests but if the dishwasher was not working efficiently, these items maybe being put away not totally clean. I am going to raise this with the owners and hope that we can rectify it soon.
