Comfortable cottage well located.
We had a lovely time at Marigold cottage, great location and nice outside space to enjoy the sunshine. Everything you need and very clean. There are one or two points that need some attention, the gate directly onto a busy road has a faulty latch that won’t close properly so a child or dog could easily walk directly into the road, there is also a large nail sticking up through the rug in the back bedroom that I stood on. Other that these minor points yes well recommend.

Short break in a lovely cottage
Superb location and a great little cottage to stay in. Everything you need in a short break. Would definitely book again.
Accidentally left our jackets behind Angela and Amanda were just excellent. They were sent out to us that day and we received them the following day…exceptional service.

Excellent long weekend
Very warm and comfortable cottage. It had everything we could have needed. Its location was ideal being a short walk to both the beach and the shops. Greatly enjoyed lying in bed listening to the sounds of the waves on the beach. Looking forward to a return visit.

Second stay in East Wittering
The interior of the house was very tired looking , numerous lightbulbs blown . TV dated . Cobwebs.
Generally requires major revamping.
It’s deteriorated since we stayed before but we still love The Wittering’s , great location, just not worth the money.

Firstly we are so glad you still love coming to the Witterings and chose to return to Marigold Cottage. However, I am sorry you felt the property had deteriorated a little since your first stay and am very grateful to you for your constructive feedback. For the benefit of future guests I shall respond. I am not sure what the problem was with the TV as it is a decent size and has sky. The house was redecorated when I first started managing it and the owner works hard to maintain it, always responding to our constructive comments. The cleaner who looks after Marigold Cottage is usually excellent so I apologise if you felt some areas were missed. We will always send a cleaner back if guests have concerns and notify us within the first 24 hours however there is little we can do if we don’t hear comments until after a guest leaves. We are always here to help guests with concerns during their stay.
For future guests I wish to reassure them that Marigold Cottage is very cosy and well maintained. It is an old cottage but very much loved and has been a very popular property in our portfolio for many years.

Had a lovely few nights in this delightful cottage. It was very comfortable and cosy. Very good location – near the beach and restaurants.

Marigold cottage
Marigold cottage is in a great location in East wittering, although on the main street, it was very quiet and peaceful. The cottage itself was very nice and had everything we needed for two weeks. Our only criticism would be the double bed was, uncomfortable, because of a very soggy mattress and the pillows were Very unsatisfactory . A new mat in the kitchen is also needed.
