Good location close to shops, bars, beach. Comfy beds. Bathroom downstairs, small towels. We’ll equipped kitchen. WiFi problems sorted quickly.

Great location just by the beach and close to all amenities. The cottage is small but sweet. Would recommend for a couple or small family. Wellies customer service was excellent as usual!

Marigold Cottage was a delightful home for Christmas week and we had a festive welcome with a door wreath and decorated tree.
The kitchen had everything we needed in it, the wood burner was easy to use and really made the cottage cosy and the cupboards were well equipped so we could keep the place clean and tidy. The garden was secure for the dog but we didn’t go out to sit in it as the weather was rather wet and windy but with the beach so close, walks along the coast were the preferred way to spend time outside.
The children loved time off their phones doing a couple of the puzzles that were in a lounge area cupboard and the dog enjoyed the close proximity to the beach.
We highly recommend Doms, the pizza/pasta takeaway that was two doors down, the staff were super friendly and helpful and the food absolutely delicious!
The village had some delightful shops including Candies the sweet shop, the grocers, bakers and butchers and the Co-op for those forgotten essentials.
Booking Marigold Cottage was very easy, communication throughout was highly efficient and a link was sent to add a very user friendly app to our phone home screen so all information was just a tap away.

Lovely cottage, lovely location, good variety of shops in the village. Surprised there was surprised there was no Welcoming Pack in the cottage.

We were very impressed with Marigold Cottage as soon as we walked though the door. Comfortable place to stay for a few days. Generally very clean and tidy and although some of the furnishings and fixtures and fittings weren’t to my personal taste there was nothing wrong with them. Kitchen was very bright and airy and very well equipped. Bathroom was clean and although an over the bath shower isn’t to everyone’s taste we had no issues with it. Both bedrooms were comfortable with space for our clothes etc.
One point I must congratulate Wellies and Windbreaks for was the excellent online guide we received about a week before we travelled, full of information, tips and suggestions.

Our family of 4 spent 3 wonderful nights staying in Marigold Cottage. The cottage was well equipped and had very comfy beds. We were blessed with wonderful sunny weather so took full advantage of the gorgeous beach at the end of the road. Our children loved kayaking and bodyboarding each day. There is a wonderful pizza place 3 doors down, plus we had a couple of great meals at nearby Drifters. There is a brilliant selection of shops in the village so we never had to go far for anything. We loved our early morning and evening beach walks to nearby West Wittering. The Cottage really was perfect for a beach get away, we would love to return. Our preference would be to have bigger bath towels and blackout curtains but those are tiny niggles!
