We loved our time at Number 24, it had a great layout and everything we needed for a group of 5 adults and 3 children aged between 2 and 5 years old. Key highlights were the toy chest, the jacuzzi, the trampoline and the “bean bag room”. The kids are still talking about them! We were in West Wittering all the way from Australia to visit relatives who live in the area. We ended up being directly across the street from our sister/aunt. We loved that the property was a short walk to the village, the beach, and the bus line. This was truly a home away from home with enough space that we didn’t feel as though we were living in each other’s pockets.
We would recommend having beach towels available (fortunately we could use our relative’s beach towels), having a couple more fans for hot days, and block out curtains in the downstairs kids room. The host was responsive when we had any questions.

We had a wonderful week at Number 24 – everything was exactly as described in the property details and the communication between us and Wellies and Windbreaks in the run up to our arrival was very helpful. They offer a very personal, caring service and responded quickly to any queries that we had. We would certainly book with again.

We have stayed at this property several times and continue to enjoy every visit! The house has had some recent updates which make it even more charming. The location is great for walking to the village and the beach and the house has everything you need for a great and comfortable stay!

We travelled as an extended family of grandparents, parents and teens and this house is brilliant! Having the ping pong table is so helpful to keep the teens busy when at home and allows time for grandparents and parents to connect with the teens over a game or two. The cabin in the garden is a great teen space to chill or a quiet place away from the rest of the house to work. The house feels spacious and even with 8 of us, we all had plenty of space. The location is brilliant, walking distance to the beach and the village of East Wittering. We hardly used the car which is so refreshing! You can walk to West Wittering Beach – between 40-50 minutes each way or along to Billy’s cafe in Bracklesham Bay for brunch or a coffee! The hot tub adds to the relaxed vibe. Highly recommend. Amanda the host is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for hosting us again, we will be back!

We have stayed here many times. The house is a great size and very comfortable with all you need for a week away. It is close to the beach and East wittering village. Amanda and the team at Wellies are fantastic! Will continue to stay here in the future!
