Lovely house, in a great location very close to the beach. House was very comfortable and spacious, enjoyed our stay and have booked again for next year!

This was the perfect house for a beach holiday with extended family. A short walk to the beach and the amenities of East Wittering, and a lovely house with a large living space and 3 separate sleeping areas, each with its own bathroom.

A lovely clean modern house with every amenity, large rooms and a secluded garden which allowed all members of the family to enjoy the weekend. The beds are large and very comfortable. It is within a short walking distance to East Witterning beach which is stoney or a longer walk or drive to the large sandy West Wittering beach. Our second very enjoyable stay with Wellies and Windbreaks.

We had a great weekend at Beachcomber with two families. The downstairs open plan space was great and all bedrooms were very comfy. The kitchen was well stocked too. The beach is a few minutes walk away as well as local shops. Great location.

Lovely house with excellent communication from Wellies and Windbreakers. They supplied lots of really useful information in an easy to use online format and the check in and check out was very easy. The house was exactly as it was described with a large downstairs seating area, perfect for 9 of us women to gather of an evening. Large kitchen, all very clean with everything we needed for a long weekend with friends. We had the beds all made up in to singles which was an added bonus! The only thing we would change about the property would be the garden, the tree directly outside patio doors was in the way! We couldn’t really eat on the garden table outside as it constantly dropped leaves and blossom all over the table and chairs! Also the grassed area consisted of a pond with trees and bushes throughout. Was very established and pretty but not much space left for a large group (or for children to play if you took them) This was a minor issue though and certainly wouldn’t stop us booking again.

Booking procedure was straightforward and email inquiries responded to quickly. The house guide, provided electronically before we arrived, was very informative. Also lots of information was provided in a large folder as to how things worked in the house – very useful.
The house was very well presented and spotlessly clean when we arrived. It is equipped to a much higher standard that most holiday lets that we have stayed in – more like a private home. Lots of games and books to keep three generations going and the little nook by the fireplace was a great hit with all.
We had a problem with the cot on arrival but the housekeeper arrived within 10 minutes to sort everything out and provide a replacement. Great to have local support so close at hand.
East Wittering is a great location, enough shops, cafes and restaurants for most things but still relatively quiet and peaceful. Look forward to returning to Beachcomber.
