Bracklesham Bay

Bracklesham Bay is a real hidden gem at the quieter end of this stretch of coastline.  It boasts some of the best accommodation and Wellies & Windbreaks manage some of the finest beachfront properties in the area along both East and West Bracklesham Drive.

With just one small public car park it is largely inaccessible to the general public so holidaymakers who are staying locally enjoy the beach to themselves, along with the local residents and die-hard water sports enthusiasts who brave the surf all year round.

Whether it’s a still, sunny day or a windy, stormy one, the beach is great for families to enjoying the shingle, sand and surf and if you take a stroll along the shoreline on a falling tide, you may well find one of the area’s famous sharks tooth fossils. Bracklesham Bay is one of the south coast’s leading centres for windsurfing and other board sports and is a great place to learn to surf or kitesurf with one of the local companies.  The area is well served for holiday makers with a few shops, takeaways, GOAT Coffee Co, Stone & Skillet woodfired kitchen and Billys on the Beach.  Billys is a glass-fronted diner looking out on all the beach action and is as enjoyable on a blissfully sunny day with the doors open as it is when there is a good storm building and the wood-burner is blazing.
