This is the second time we’ve stayed at this apartment & our third booking with Wellies and Windbreaks. We can’t fault them. Perfect location to relax, either in the comfy chairs in front of the window watching the waves or sitting on the beach. We never want to leave and will definitely be back. I’d unreservedly recommend this property if you want a quiet spot to enjoy being by the sea. The property is very comfy & well equipped. Five stars from us.

The location of this property was excellent, enjoyable whatever the weather. It’s fascinating to watch the swimmers, surfers, kite surfers, wind surfers and dog walkers using the beach while having breakfast or dinner. East Wittering had a great variety of shops and the fresh fish on offer was a real treat. We had a fabulous lobster and sea bream from Something Fishy (PO20 8BN), and freshly caught Dover Sole from the Fisherman’s Hut (PO20 8DU) on the beach.

The service from Amanda , Angela and the support team was excellent.

The only issue we had was water ingress through the lounge windows during the heavy rain, which we understand is being addressed.

This has been a return visit for our stay, the apartment is perfect for a getaway to Bracklesham Bay and surrounding area.
It is perfectly located within a gated complex so you have a secure place to park. This is right on the beach and you can open the windows at the front and hear the waves breaking on the beach below.
The apartment is very well equipped to a high standard with everything you would need for your stay.
It is very comfortable and perfect for a couple, family getaway.
We will definitely be back again!

We loved By the Beach so much we have already booked it again. Right on the beach with easy access for our canoe and paddleboard. Comfortable bed and excellent shower. Perfect beach getaway.

Lovely place which will look even better when the work to the outside of the building is complete.

The interior of the apartment was lovely. It was well decorated and had everything that we needed for our stay. The views out of the front window was stunning and completely made our stay.
The only downside is the exterior of the complex is quite tired and run down which made our heart sink as we approached but luckily the interior completely made up for it.

A lovely 3 night stay in this apartment which was tastefully decorated and catered perfectly for our needs. The view from the apartment was stunning and you could not have been closer to the beach. The apartment would benefit for the replacement of the interior and exterior doors and the outside of the property needs to be maintained in line with the interior. Thank you.

We had a great weekend, lovely flat, terrific condition and what spectacular views of the sea. Spectacular sunsets and a great place as a base to other place to visit. The flat was very well looked after, very clean, very modern, very comfortable.
Good local amenities, shops and eateries.

Well equipped apartment on the beach with great views out to sea.
Grill, cooker, fridge and work tops needed a wipe over. But other than that apartment was clean.
Only 1 pillow each and would have been nice to have 2. Good parking.
We enjoyed our stay.

We had a brilliant time here with our young kids (8 and 6). Location right on the beach is amazing and we were out there every day for a walk, boogie board or fossil hunting! Easy to get to lots of local attractions too.
Flat is fab, perfect size for us and to a high standard. Billy’s on the Beach and Drifters we’re our favourite places to eat out, plus got some great fish and chips to eat on the beach from Moby’s.
All in all a fantastic holiday, we hope to return!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Views were immense and the kitchen and bathroom were modern and attractive. Lots of helpful info about local area in the flat.

The kitchen could do with another couple of frying pans as one is never enough. The fridge hadn’t had a thorough clean. Parking was ultra tight, with no dedicated space there was the constant threat of being unable to park and there was no plan B. The nearest spot would have been 20 mins away …

Just what I needed to relax and spend time with friends by the sea. The apartment is in such a great location

The property itself is lovely inside. They’ve cleverly kept it simple but having everything you need for a perfect stay. Firstly the beds…..They are amazing. So much so that I took the pillow cases off to find that they have pillow quilts between the pillow and the case (I’ve now ordered them for my house). They’re literally the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever slept on. There is plenty of storage and hangers as well. The twin room was also great for the kids.

The living room is fantastic. There a couple of cozy chairs and a small table facing out of the main feature….The massive windows that face out to the beach. You literally feel like you are over the top of the waves at points. My wife and I both agreed that you could never get bored of that view, and the weather wasn’t very good a lot of the time while we were there so the waves were both huge and exciting to watch. The rest of the living/dining room is also very neat, just the right amount of furniture and a dining table that would sit 6 comfortably. The Wifi was an added bonus for the kids iPads and my computer. The sofas were comfy and there is a nice throw to get cozy in the evenings.

The open plan kitchen has everything you would need, including coffee machine, big fridge freezer, dishwasher, pretty much every utensil you could want (although we didn’t cook while there).

The bathroom is great with a huge shower and heated towel rail and some really good massive towels.

Everything looks new, and everything is very clean. There was plenty of parking outside whilst we were there which is handy.

I would highly recommend this property for its location as much as anything else. My wife and I are already looking at coming back later in the year as there are so many things we didn’t have the chance to do.

The apartment was very clean & modern with lovely sea views to the Isle of Wight & Portsmouth. It’s right on the beach so fun to watch the wind surfers etc. from the large front windows as well as the container ships in the distance.
Very close to The Witterings for local shops.

This is a lovely flat right next to the beach. The view from the window of the living room is stunning. You can see the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth in the distance and sit and watch the kite surfers or birds from the well positioned chairs by the window. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and the shower is powerful. What more could you want?! Highly recommended.

We’ve stayed in Bracklesham Bay previously, but this was the first time staying in By the Beach. The apartment is bright, spacious, with sea views and has everything you need. The only criticism I have is the mattress was too firm for me. We would stay again and hopefully it would be warm enough to sit out on the beach.

Thank you for a brilliant few days in a lovely apartment. Fantastic location with an even better view of the sea than the pictures suggested.

A lovely break all round!

The holiday was brilliant as usual looking out over the sea.

The only negative point we have to make is the new mustard coloured towels which were like cardboard! please bring back the John Lewis grey towels which were real quality.

A small bijoux in a great location. A flat that is well furnished and offers everything you need. Clean, well located and a phenomenal view. We spent a few great days at the beach and in the region. There are great restaurants and really friendly people in the nearby town. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay in this lovely apartment, sitting and watching the world go by on the beach and sea was so relaxing. Very much looking forward to going back soon.

An absolutely superb view in a secluded location away from the hustle and bustle of normal life, only reason for a 4 for value for money is the nightly cost could be a little cheaper in my opinion…
